By divine grace, trusting that we have repented and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and have given ourselves to Him, and that upon this confession we have been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and relying on His grace;
We solemnly and joyfully declare, in the witness of God and the church members, that: We will preserve the unity and purity of our church by seeking the good of the other members and showing love, sharing one another’s joys and sorrows, refusing to gossip and slander, submitting to the leaders God has provided, and humbly accepting our responsibilities toward one another;
We will share the responsibilities of our church by faithfully meeting the needs of those in need within our church, laboring and praying for the growth and health of the church, glorifying Christ in our family life, and striving to reach non-Christians and proclaim the gospel;
We will serve for the maturation of our church as one body by discovering our gifts and abilities, being equipped to carry out the work of ministry alongside our elders, and striving for both our own spiritual growth and the spiritual growth of our brothers and sisters; We will uphold the corporate witness of our church by never denying Christ or that we are Christians before others, testing everything we do according to God’s way, faithfully attending gatherings, and financially supporting our church;
We will be His servants until the return of Christ by praying to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, seeking with God’s help to live a careful and holy life in the world, rejecting ungodliness and worldly passions, and, when we leave our church in peace, joining as soon as possible another church where we can live out the principles of God’s Word;
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
